Know Your Zones
05.26.2011

A Work Zone is a designated area on a highway or street where construction is taking place. Car accidents can happen in work zones due to speeding, tailgating, and other violations stemming from driver's inability to quickly adjust to the new situation on the road.
Work Zones mean slow down. Even if there are no workers present in the Work Zone, as long as a sign is there, drivers must reduce their speed. In North Carolina. there is an additional $250 penalty, on top of court costs, if you have speed in a Work Zone.
If you come to Mark Farbman, PA, for a free consultation about traffic violations such as a car accident, or speeding in a Work Zone, he and his staff will advise you of your rights. No question is too simple for the law office of Mark Farbman.
